The Week in Swiss Startups (8-12.1.2024) - Week #2
The second week of Jan '24 features 6 startups and 3 exits. New record of Spin-off launched at ETH Zürich. KickFund becomes operational with CHF 70M AUM!
Hi there!
As we transition from the quiet first week of January, the second week has burst forth with a notable surge – a substantial $49 million has been invested in Swiss startups, accompanied by three exits!
In the realm of our thriving ecosystem, I’m excited to share that KickFund became operational with CHF 70M AUM. ETH Zürich has also made waves by declaring a record-breaking 43 spin-offs, with 12 startups working on AI/ML technology. Furthermore, the biotech and pharma spin-offs contribute significantly to this robust ecosystem.
Breaking more ground, the digital health center bülach (dhc) has unveiled a new healthcare incubator in collaboration with Tenity and ZKB.
Exciting times ahead!
Gian
