The Week in Swiss Startups (23-27.10.2023) - Week #44
The last week of Oct '23 features 13 startups and 0 exits. Congrats viso.ai for a $9.2M round led by Accel. Migros closes Sparrow Ventures.
Hi there!
Today, I celebrate the $9.2M Seed round of viso.ai, a no-code computer vision platform! I met the founders soon after moving to Switzerland in 2017. Step by step, Nico and Gaudenz bootstrapped the company until last week, when they announced the financing round led by Accel.
As a famous luxury watch ads promotes (you guess it!), Schaffhausen leads the way in today’s newsletter!
Additionally, Migros has ceased the operations of Sparrow Ventures, its in-house venture capital and venture development initiative, as reported by NZZ (German only) - (10 active companies in portfolio, 13 inactive/exited).
Have a great day,
Gian
